Email Didn't Send: Attached Report Failed -- Page Header/Footer Length
The email(s) from a MyAssistant did not send because an attached report failed. The error indicates that a page header or footer on the attached report is longer than one page.
Next Steps
Review the error detail to see if the report is specified, then work with whoever created/modified the report to reduce the page header/footer size.
Another option is to update the printer driver being used on the server to change the paper/output size. Reports that create PDFs still use printer drivers to determine things like page margins, text size and more. Choosing a different printer driver or a different paper/output size could resolve the issue noted above.
1. Go to File > Options and select "Server Settings" in the MyAssistant Designer to find the Sage user & password MyAssistant is using on the server
2. Identify and log on to the computer where the MyAssistant Server software is installed. This is the computer from which MyAssistant sends emails and creates attached reports.
3. Check MyAssistant's Service responsible for creating and sending emails and reports
a. Click the Windows Start button and type "Services"
b. Select "Services" from the results
c. Scroll down to "ISDAdminSenderService" and check the "Log on as" column
i. If the service is set to "Log on as" an account called "Local System", update the service to run as the Windows user you used to log on to the computer
ii. If it's set to "Log on as" a Windows user other than "Local System", log off of the server and log back on as that Windows user (if not logged in as them already)
4. Click Windows Start button and type "Printers"
5. Select "Printers & Scanners" from the list
6. Select a new printer driver (e.g. TS PDF Generator, Microsoft Print to PDF, or Microsoft XPS Document Writer) and click "Manage"
7. Click "Set as default"
8. Log in to a Sage application (e.g. Job Cost) on the server using the Sage user & password used by MyAssistant
9. Click "File" and select "Print Settings"
10. Choose the same printer in the dropdown that was just set as the default in Windows, then close Sage
11. Restart the Windows service "ISDAdminSenderService"
12. Return to the MyAssistant Designer and run the Task again
